ANDREA BEDNAROVA

Andrea Bednarova is an associate attorney with Rudloff Wood & Barrows LLP. She practices in the areas of insurance coverage and “bad faith” defense, including first and third party property insurance coverage.

Ms. Bednarova is a 2006 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she received the Witkin and American Jurisprudence awards for her coursework in Roles and Ethics in Practice. While in law school, Ms. Bednarova acted as a senior articles editor of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal, participated in the Street Law Program and the Civil Justice Mediation Clinic, and also clerked for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in the Environmental and Consumer Protection Division.

Ms. Bednarova obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley, graduating with highest distinction in general scholarship with a major in Political Economy of Industrial Societies.

Ms. Bednarova was born and raised in the Czech Republic, and she speaks several Eastern European languages. Prior to embarking on her legal career, Ms. Bednarova enjoyed a successful career as a marketing manager for a major American corporation in the Czech Republic.

In her spare time, Ms. Bednarova enjoys running, hiking, skiing and tending to her vegetable garden.
